60-64 (bent ends, no caster adjustment)
65-66 (straight ends, no caster adjustment)
67-68 (straight ends, caster adjustable)
From what I understand the 60-64 strut rods are hard to find since they were never used on Mustangs and people with early cars sometimes have to upgrade to the '65-66 lower control arms and strut rods, or try to find good used strut rods.
I am unsure at this time if the '67/68 strut rods are compatible with the earlier cars, anybody know for certain?
If you have an early car, all of the Caster/Camber adjustments are made by adding/removing shims from the UCA mounting locations.
I was looking at this kit
Pro-Motorsports Webpage
and I'm wondering how you adjust the Caster after this kit is installed. Do you still need UCA shims, or can you 'upgrade' to '67/68 strut rods that are adjustable?Vario-Centric Camber Adjustment Kit
Vario-Centric Camber Adjuster Kit for 64 1/2 to 66 Mustangs and 60-65 Falcon/Ranchero. Allows for easy camber adjustment without shimming. This system will not move or slip under high suspension loads. Minor front track width adjustments are also possible with this kit.
