Postby RPMustang » Tue Nov 03, 2009 12:21 am

i have some ideas on how to hook up the throttle linkage, but i am curious if anyone can share what they did that may be more efficient than what im thinking. I am running an autolite 2100 with an automatic transmission.

Most folks seem to just switch to using a throttle cable setup from a later model car including the pedal assembly rather than trying to adapt the factory linkage.

My carb is oriented with the primaries facing forward and I swapped to a throttle cable that pulls towards the fire wall.

I'm running a 67 valve body (in a C4) with a transgo shift kit and I manually shift it so I never made any provision for a tranny kickdown cable.

Works for me. :)
