Mad Frenchman at Beaver springs

Postby comet66 » Mon Jul 14, 2008 10:48 pm

Hi
I went to Beaver Spring Pa this weekend for the Old time drags and The Mad Frenchman was there with his Maverick and 300 six. Clem has been around a lot of years racing his Ford and is always a joy to talk to. If you ever get a chance to see him stop by his pit, he will always stop and talk or explain what he is doing. I got a wonderful demo on how to re jet weber carbs. He puts on a great show wheel standing and running in the 10's.
Also when I said he has been doing this for awhile, Clem is 76 years old.
God bless
I attached some pics.

TCIC
I talked to him about the price and I don't think he wants to sell. He said something like $18,000 that includes trailor and 2 complete engines and extra parts.
