On my truck there were about 30 wires that came out of the firewall that ran to the under dash computer. I traced all of these wires back and found out that I didnt need most of them so I cut them off and put set screw connectors on them to cap them off. In the end I put a holley 390 4 barrel on it and got the same mileage with more power.
