Convert to roller cam and roller rockers. I'd probably have Crower grind a duplicate of their 19211 except contoured for roller followers. Install with a Cloyes adjustable gearset and play with advancing the cam to straight up vs. retarded 4° to see which produced better results.
It would probably improve economy almost as much as going to hard skinny tires and swapping to synthetic lubes in the tranny and diff.
