Not really. I sitll get an occasional drip from the dip stick. I have no clue what that is about. But the mtor runs fine and I'm not about to tempt my fate again. hahaha.

UPDATE: OK. All the picture parts were installed. I did the clearance test on the new pan and the gap between the pick up screen and pan bottom was a hair below ½”. The valve cover with Powered by FORD stamped onto it would be period correct for your 68 / 69 block. Very early 144 and 170 engines would have had the plain valve cover or block lettered valve cover would only be important if you wanted to keep car original looking to year it was built. UPDATE: I did some tests over the last few days. Using a stop watch I timed the oil pressure differences. Once the motor reached operating temp at 160 degrees the oil pressure was right at 40psi. For the push-on style, NPD part number 6766-5 for chrome or 6766-2 for black. NPD 6766-11 is the one with a breather tube that goes to the air cleaner. DIRTY RATS!

My 170 & 144 dont use spin on caps. The valve cover has a stubby stove pipe with a breather cap pushes down into.

Does anyone know where I can buy a new valve cover oil fill cap? I checked FordSix.com, Mac & Dearborn and all of them carry what I already have.

Sounds like you might have some oil starvation (oil moving away from pickup tube) you could put some simple baffling in the front and rear of the pan to help keep oil surrounding the pick up tube.
