there are no parts made to super charger OR turbocharge a 300...its all home made.

the SC300 i have seen use a Clif. 4bbl intake with an adapter plate to mate them
now the TC300 i have seen use a sink trap, J-pipe, or what i did make a turbo manifold

iv rebuild air pumps like that at work for a printing shop that we do alot of machining for.... the ones we have done use graphite blades. it would be really easy to make. the problem i c would be lack of CFM or not building boost. but u never know untill you make it...and if it dont work you wont b...

well what kinda machines do you have access to? and how much do you know about machining? if you can program a 5 axis CNC you could make a roots blower. even if you cant do that you could use a horizontal mill and a rotating table.

is this a top loader? or top loaded style? when i got my new t18 the top was off it and i had 2 install it. after 2 or 3 trys i got the shifter, shift rails and forks all where they needed to be and it shifted fine. but the first few time i installed it it wouldnt shift

my f150s got 3" lift with progressive coils up front and 3" block out back on 38.5
my f250 will be 8" of lift with 37 to 39.5. 8" leafs up front and and 3" leafs out back with about 3-6" of block.

body lifts are crap...wires, lines, and linkages are stretched. all my friends that have gone body lifts have had problems with it.

you have to drop at lest the pivot points or your wheels will be runing on the side walls.. and i think with over 6" lift youll need to drop the radius arms as well.

ya when i worked over my head (1985) it had cast in seats.....im just guessing but from ford they just cast the head close to the seat and then cut them, it doesnt take much to cut the seats.

that old 85 f150 i had came with2.75 and a 4speed OD, it was killer on mileage, wasnt to bad on the acceleration, but after i swaped for the 3.50 it was a lot better.

the 9 after the ratio is stands for 9" isnt it.

i think your missing a number just before the 75. my guess is it should be 3.75 if there is an L between the 3 and the 75 then its a track-loc

my trucks got brand new mounts and the shifter only moves about 3-4" even under heavy loads like over 15,00lbs and there just stocker rubber mounts.

well later on this year when i start the build on my 300 im going to O ring the block for about 15-20 psi with around 9.0:1.

it may be over kill i dont know. but its better to over do it then brake the motor with in the first few start ups.

well im swapping in a 300 in place of a 400, just from the measurement i have takin it will shift the motor forward about 4-5" if i use the stock 400 towers. the old truck 300 stock 78.5f150 4x4 t18 the new truck 400 stock 78.5 f250 4x4 c6 but having it forward 5" wont be that bad seeing how im goin...

try hooking it to a tree or truck (something that wont move) leting out the clutch and have some one look at your motor as to do this. it will twist up some but if it move a lot then you may have a broken MM.

Methinks the valve train "may" have issues somewhere south of 7100 rpm (valve float, anyone?) my old 300 with only 80,000 on it would float the valves at 4750rpms i really dont see it hiting 7000. i dont even think that if you were doing 4000prms in forth and then shifted down in to 3 or 2 that it ...

ya i should of said that if you were going to use your foot. you would want to press hard.

i found out that my starter is so strong it can start the truck in gear and get ir running.

so will the size of the exhaust pipe effect the spool of the turbo as well? im guessing that a 3" would be bad. but would say a 1 3/4-2" be a lot better? and would adding/moving a cat close to the turbo help but fully burning the gas(making more expanding exhaust gases) Currently I have a 2.5" tubi...

unbolt the starter from the truck hook( ground to the body, positive to where it goes) up a set of jumper to it just like it was in the truck( put your foot on top of it or put it in a vice) when you hook up a battery to it you will know if the Bendix is working or not. but thats just how we redneck...

well does the truck got a 44HD or a 50 in it right now? if its a 44HD IFS and you go with a 44HD solid it should be the same. now the 50 may be a little beet different. but youll never know for sure untill you get it in there. and to answer you other question you can swap the rear springs to the fro...
