No..it’s the same as it was with the old dizzy..just wondering if I have oil pressure the pump is pumping oil...just want to make sure the dizzy is seated properly in the oil pump.

Oil pressure

Install a new hei dizzy last week timed it by a vacuum gauge...car has never ran so good..maybe the cool Minnesota air..what I’m wondering..if I see oil pressure on my gauge the same as before..the oil pump is pumping..hate to have to take the valve cover off to check for oil.

Way to confusing to me....all I know that I removed the Mallory unilite,wires,coil and installed a hei dizzy...this car has never and I mean never ran this strong...so for now I’m not going to mess with it..but I do wonder if everything was properly dialed in..what it would feel like.

My question is...I installed a new dizzy..pretty much timed it by ear as I have always done in the past..cleaning out the garage I found a timing light.so I want to check it..what I don’t understand is 12degrees tdc...looking at the timing marks..if 0 is tdc..which is at the bottom of the marks..do ...

I was in a rush to install the module in my Mallory unilite diz.one of the screws holding on the module fell..what I thought was down in the dizzy...so I took the diz.out...forgot to mark the rotor position...at top dead center..should the rotor point at number one cyl.

Added 3 new air trumpets on my 3 Weber’s...had to shave them down for hood clearance...I think it runs better..would add pictures,but I can seem to get it to work.

I have a bare head ready for rebuilding...is it wise to put bigger valves in it...if so,I see inline has the parts but no valve seats,where do I get them...truly I no nothing about heads or what parts to get.

Just since the new pump...I did replace the coil and the transmission was about a 1/3 quart low...theses are weber 34 ich ..no dash pot...last year I did replace the fuel pump before putting the car to bed for winter...also I had a garage replace a my transmission pan gasket and they did not put typ...

my car when hot 180 degrees will stall in drive when i stop..will start right up.. and stall at the next stop..i put it in neutral,it stays running..put it in drive and it sometimes stall....i did notice my coil was super hot ...also last year just before putting it away for the winter i put a new f...

had my car in for a little work and they said the tranny pan was leaking..i new it and was going to fix it,but winter is coming fast so i had them do it...my question is i noticed on the invoice..they used 2 quarts of multi-vehicle synthetic trans fluid..is this ok or do i need to put the type FA in...

i talked to a few head rebuilders and told them i need the port divider welded in place..they were scared to do it because it was cast iron..talked it to a professional welder...same story.for those who had theres welded can you tell what is the best way. the head thats in my car now i put some heat...

the people that are going to work on my head are concerned about milling to much..i said .060...the head guy is worried about overheating and the head gasket not fitting right....he said even though hes been working on heads for 25 years ..hes really not that knowledgeable with upgrading theses heads.

i have 2 heads for the 200..but the combustion chambers look different..1 is round with the u shape surrounding the valves..the other just has the u shape surrounding the valves both have the same number c6de 6090 b...but one has after the b ...x12..and thats the one with just the u shape by the val...

bought a 200ci just to play around and see how thing are put together.... when i changed my harmonic balancer on my car its seem easy to remove...but on the stand its a bear...just to make sure...which way to loosen it up...it has a L on the bolt.......i have monday brain
