It works well in very small amounts for economy, but the cylinder pressure spike during combustion wreaks havoc on the small ends of the rods in bigger volumes. I worked on the runners this evening and they are coming very nicely. If I do have the bowl cleaned up, where do you suggest? Ill probably leave the chamber for the shop to do.

Thanks for the push in the right direction. Its going to be built on a budget but i dont like shortcuts. With the c6 behind it, i havent really decided, most likely another ford truck from the 70s or early 80s. Eventually I have plans to see this engine in a 60s pony with a serious turbo/anger-manag...

FWIW - Is the c6 worth rebuilding (myself) and converting to manual? Or should i go a different route with another trans?

Any suggestions on a cam to compliment that build for low to mid power?

Good machine shop in NE/Engine questions

Finally getting around to building the 300. Im looking for a decent shop in 2 hours riding distance from northern jersey. Can anyone make some good recommendations? Ok for the build. Im definitely going to do this right the first time but I need some input on taking the right steps. The block, crank...
