Howell EFI. In theory....

So I've been kicking around the idea about eventually swapping my Autolite 2100 out for an EFI setup. Stumbled across these kits by Howell that look pretty straightforward. In theory, does it look possible that I could utilize 289 kit with the 2bbl adaptor on my big log head? Thanks! http://howellef...

Starter interchange?

Is it possible to swap an SBF starter to a 250? I'd love to be able to utilize a Mini-Starter and see if that helps with header issues.

Driveshaft modification?

I'm looking to install a T-5 out of an '85 GT in my '71 Mustang. Would there be any modifications needed on the driveshaft? Thanks!

T-5 in a '71 Mustang. Some questions.

Hey guys! My '71 Mustang(250ci) has it's original 3spd manual in it, but I have access to a T-5 out of an '85 Mustang GT. I've heard that the bellhousing is the same between the two. Is this true? Also, what other modifications need to be done for the swap? Any mods to the crossmember or exhaust? Al...

300 in a Torino?

Earlier this week I came across a '69 Torino fastback in my neighborhood. No engine, but originally a 351W. I have access to a 300 out of a '68 F100, as well as a T-5 and a C4 in my shed, so it got me thinking of a potential new project. Has anybody ever swapped a 300 into one of these? Any thoughts...

MSD has a Blaster coil specificaly for Ford duraspark ignitions, and a universal Blaster. The Pertronix Flame thrower coil is a very popular application for our sixes.

My car still has the stock coil but I'm probably going to get the pertronix myself.

Starter location

Is the starter in my '71 mustang with a 250 a low mount or a high mount?
I need to know so that I can have an idea as to whether I can use a pacemaker header or not.

Thanks

I would think that adjustable mounts would interfere with the rest of the drivetrain(tranny, driveshaft,etc.). How does it lower without moving the transmission?

Hood clearance

I think that I might have a problem with hood clearance. My intake has about a half inch rise on it, my carb adapter is about an inch and a half tall, my Holley 350 carb is fairly tall also. Is there any way that I can fit all that and a 2" air cleaner under the hood of my 71 mustang without cutting...
