I had a old RX7 with a dead engine given to me years ago. because the floor rust was so bad it got scrapped.
I had plans for a 302 in it. It would fit like a glove.

Take some measurements cause I don't think you are going to be able to shut the hood with a 300 in it.

With the correct springs you might NOT need the ball joint bushings to get the alignment right. If i had anything near a 95 I might be of more help. Just look under more trucks to see what they ride on spring wise.

On any regular basis there's 2000lbs in the bed. Or my 3000lb mustang on a 2500lb trailer. Way back I towed my brothers 85' f150 (4000lbs) on a car trailer that weighed 2500 empty, I had 800 in the bed when I did this and 2 grown men plus me in the cab. I think if I remember correctly the stock 1bbl Carter on a good running 300 will hit its flow limit at about 3200 RPM.

A 300 will rev even higher but the power is not going any higher as the RPMs do after that flow limit is hit.

That sounds like it is from a 75-78 Mustang II and while I am not sure 100% what they called it I think it was a RUG 4 ot a T-4?? speed. and maybe it was a predecessor to the T-5?? AKA T-4?

Either way I'd think it would hold up behind a 250.

When I did mine years ago I disabled the key in ignition reminder part of the new lock set.



Heck i had to replace a ignition switch "actuator" on my 06 Jeep last month. I did the same to it.

Be glad you don't own some of the modern Chrysler products.

My first though was the bigger the better and that would be true for getting the most heat possible out of the compressed air,...however the bigger you go the longer the turbo lag because the volume of air to compress is larger as well.
