If you can stick with the si valves your probably better off. The longer Chevy valves will require some careful valvetrain measurements, shimmed or adjustable rockers pending on the head. Finally Blew mine up was pulling hard 20psi @4k no issues, 94 octane with 10% ethanol. Wastegate line blew off spiked 25lbs and detonated/kicked once think she leaned out soo fast and my timing wasn't forgiving enough for that, took the ring lands out on cyl 4 and 5 I'm thinking.

just came across your thread sorry its a bit late. efi manifolds with a merging y pipe, ran a gt35 (ebay turbo) t4 .68ar housing 3"vband, positive pressure around 1800rpm all in 15psi+ 22-2500 rpm pending on load, found the turbine to be too small for highway cruising awesome towing and torque ...

ran the oe plugs for a long time, torched out a set recently and went over to autolite 45's, keeping the gap tight too, seems happy around 0.035"

We've used Calico coatings out of Denver, North Caroline before and will probably use them again. There are two types of custom forged pistons available, 4032 alloy (Eutectic) and 2618 with very little silicon content. The 4032 alloy is OK for mild turbo use. You can cut the studs flush to the manifold, then oversize drill and tap them install bolts again, cut them and peen. drill and tap again for your final location to the size you need. I ordered a set of 903-12 comp springs for my stock cammed engine $50.00 cdn or soo, pulled the p/n from one of comps larger cams. Make sure your lifter bores are all clean and free of varnish, and pre lubed. the lifters need to rotate freely, can wipe a new cam pretty quick if one is sticky. I dont know about you guys but i was always told the first 20 minutes you want to vary rpms 1500-2000 a bit to promote lifter rotation.

Got the head gasket swaped ot while i was inside changed my valve seals to positive seals, and cleaned the bowls up. Wraped the exhaust merge pipes.
