Last week had a chance to run with the Shelby Club with my Mustang. Got the camera working, so I was able to record a couple of sessions. Car ran great- I think I still need to play with the accel pump settings, but it's definitely getting better!

Absolutely! I have one of Bill’s distributors. Running 91 octane for the dyno run. If you factor in driveline losses I’m happy with what the engines doing. There’s a Hot Rod article where they made 220 hp on an engine stand spinning it to 6200. At 15% driveline loss I’m doing 208 hp.

I've used this fan for a few years now with no issues:

It's the thinnest I could find, is a name brand, and is pretty cheap. These guys will also sell you a kit to flush mount the fan as well.

Took my 200 Mustang to the track. Nothing broke, so it was a good day! Car ran flawless all day. I haven't dyno'd the car, but it was having no trouble accelerating around. I installed my MGB-based Mocal oil cooler. I got the cooler and hoses brand new for $50! I fabricated some brackets to hang it off of my radiator support, got some fittings and installed the Setrab thermostat sandwich adapter and it works! No leaks. Pretty satisfying!

Appreciate the feedback! I agree on keeping it simple; I was planning on doing some track days with it, so up to 20 minutes per session; I wanted to build in a little more cushion on the cooling side. That being said, do you still recommend leaving it off?

That can be done. I have Yella Terra rockers on my CI cover. I epoxied my baffles in and I recently checked them after a few thousand miles and working well.

What oil pump are you using to get 60 psi? I get 40 cold startup that settles to 20 at idle when warm.

I don't think there's enough meat on there to do the screws- I looked at it for a while before just going the epoxy route. It's been on there for 2k miles and I had it off last week to look it over- stuck on there!
