I just bought a 1963 Ranchero with a 250 and a carter 2 brl carb . It has a cold air intake That I really do not like and previous owner says a regular air cleaner is too tall. I would like something that looks more period correct. Chrome is ok but cold air is to new for me . THANKS!!!

I am in the process of putting aftermarket wiring in my Ranchero. What I would like to do is eliminate the headlight switch and run the headlights off of the ignition switch so on with ignition like new cars? Can this be done my headlight wiring has relay?Thanks!

I bought 1'' spacers and the rims fit! Tire still a little big rubs on inner fender so 215 or225 would work better. Love these rims!!!

Can a 1965 Mustang full gague cluster fit in my '62 Ranchero . The wiring is not a problem.I just don't kow if it is to long or if the mount holes line up.

Yesb I was looking for aluminum wheels. I had a set of 4 lug ultras that are on my son Falcon. They had a cover similar to the ones on the top of the page you linked to. I have seen some aftermarket one but not may. Am I the odd ball old man?

I have Ranger wheels on my Ranchero and hoping to upgrade. I don't know alot about wheel technoligy . Is there a term when looking for wheels where the lug nut are not exposed. Center cap that covers the lug nuts?

X-flow distrubitor
I have a 1975 x-flow in my '62 Ranchero. On the original wiring it has a pink resistor wire for the ignition to the coil. I have no orignal wiring and trying to wire the ignition. I do not know if I need the pink resistor wire my undersanding is this is for point distrubitor.Thanks for help,Ken.

Actually I have no origanal wiring to use.Last year I bought a wiring harness(fuse box and wires). So to save money I bought a Falcon ignition plug and I have a wiring dighram for the falcon. Ok it is the pink resistor wire on my '62 Ranchero I was talking about.(in to big of a hurry this morning ).This pink wire goes from ignition switch to firewall and then changes and goes to the coil and solinoid.

Thanks so much. I used a file to get that area around the stud that the factory. Then they came out using a big{OLD} socket on the backside and pressed them out in my vice. Almost easy. Thanks again.

Drat! More looking. But appriciate the help! These were going to only be temporary unroll I got my Granada disc on. I was also thinking about going from 5 lug on rear to 4 lug. They don't make adapters that way. Just want all 5 lug or all 4 lug. THANKS!

After a lot of over thought and mind confusion. I deceided to order 2- 15" rims for the front of my Ranchero. Now after to much reading. What rim width and backspacing? Then tires ?? 195 /75 ? The fronts are 4 lug.

Well from what I got a 1975 Mustang II width is 57 inches.And a 1963 Falcon(Ranchero) is 56.5 inches. So. That is 1/2 inch difference. And if you put to big tires under a '63 they rub. So maybe with a mini tub. Thanks for reading.

I am thinking about using a voltage regulator that bolts on the back of the alternator on my '62 to clean up the wiring. I know there is instructions . But is there a wiring diagram some place for this to double check , I only want to do it one more time and no fires! Thanks!
