Im using a gt35 turbo on my build with a ported head and a good cam. I spin my engine to 6k currently. My turbo has a 64mm compressor. I will be upgrading to a 78mm soon but I use my engine for drag racing. My gt35 has full boost by 2200prm from a stop and even lower when driving around. The respons...

Thats always a good choice. Ive pegged the stock maf on that rigs. On low boost its no big deal but having a bigger range of voltage is better for tuning

24# with the stock pressure on the rail will work for low boost. Not sure how big your maf is but a stock one should work if they are the same size as the mustang. I typically use one from a lightning though

I belive I can get the pistons I have with a .927 pin as well. I'm still playing with numbers right now. I will have to write everything down and double check what I think I can get away with. I will also be discussing some options with my engine shop.

I will have 2 fuel cells so I can run meth at the track and pump fpr the street. Its easy to switch between maps with my ecu. I found a small block rod that will work but I need to turn my crank down. The rods are an h-beam design and are rated to 750.

I have no intention on going to 8k. Just trying to make everything as efficient as possible for max power. I'm good with 6k rpm. I need some custom rods and billet main caps so I can get the boost up to where I want it. I would ultimately like 25 to 30psi on meth. Ive been contemplating the la cross...

No transbreak yet. I need to get some rods made but funds are limited right now with the new chassis build. Any recommendations as far as a good company for those? And maybe an approximate cost?

I'm building a new set of custom twin turbo headers so my whole hot side will just be sitting in a corner if anyone want to buy it. I'm ordering a prepped c6 and converted so my manual tranny problems will be gone. The new headers should make power up to about 8k if I ever get the rest of the motor ...

Full boost around 2k and it pulls like a freight train all the way to 6k. I was going to dyno it after I went to the track but my tranny had other plans. Lol. The output shaft twisted so bad before it broke I can't even get it out of the yoke on the driveline

I don't remember the part numbers off hand but the dss pistons are a 351 stroker setup and I'm using stock rods that have the small end bushed to fit the smaller wrist pin. My cam is a .501 lift and I believe its a 268 or 274 duration. Lift and duration are the same on the intake and exhaust.I also ...

Just started a new project. I pulled the turbo motor from my f150 and I'm putting it in a 98 ranger. I have lots to do still but it should be ready for spring. I'm also going with a front mounted twin setup since I'm out of compressor with my gt35.

Good job. Those should spool quick! I just started a new project. I'm putting my motor in a 98 ranger. This thing is going to be a beast. And I'm putting a pair of t3t4's where the radiator was. I have 1000hp worth of compressor now.

14.68 300 turbo with a 5sp manual. The truck weighs 4750 and first get popped out for over 1 second. The boost was at 9psi

I'm running 18psi on my 4.9 with a ported head. I have the m5od in mine with a ceramic clutch. I'm over the 700 tq range and my tranny is holding up fine with the only mod being switching to 5-20 motor oil instead of atf

I know its inconvenient but if you want to send your turbo and wastegate to me I would be willing to build the setup for you on my motor and ship it back to you. I just want to see more turbo 300's on the road.

I'm considering tooling up to make up pipes for the efi 300's out there. I plan on making them for a t4 flange with external wastegate. If your interested. The factory ecu is maxed out due to being tuned for such a small injector. I have already tried to work around it. You can get a used megasquirt cheap if you can't get a new one. I'm happy to help with any needs you have. Just pm me. I will send you a tune and all you have to do is change the inject...

You should have no problems with that. I would recommend at least a 30# injector though. Go heavy on the fuel system. You will be glad you did

I have the mdo5-r2 as well. I've heard its weak but mine is going strong. The only thing I've done to it is change from atf to a 5-20 motor oil. My megasquirt hookup only took 3hrs so its an easy swap over

The megasquirt is pretty easy if you understand engine basics. Just don't get greedy with the timing and you should be safe. And as a daily driver...... Before I was making gobbs of power it was great. My problem is I'm using a 5sp so a clutch that can handle all the tq is kinda touchy in traffic. W...

Based on displacement you would need to rev way past what a stock cam could do. But if you could come close to 6k it might work

I made plugs to fit the seat at the bottom with a nipple that goes through the hole then I set them in place with a 14 x 1.5 set screw and ported the hump out so there is no hole or step in the port
