thanks for the information on the six shooter puller. looks like he gets a lot out of some good parts without throwing the bank at it. Really shows what a well built 300 can do when competing along side V8 rigs.

J.R. -- chad -- Blairsville Ed ---- Thanks guys for the kind words. Had the procedure on Wed and as of today all seems to be healing well. Will have an Ultra Sound done next Tue to make sure all is sealed. Can't do any work on the truck for a week or so, then I'll get back to it.

A few years out of high school (mid 60's) I had a Thams Panel with an Oldsmoble & B&M hydro, straight front axel, Olds rear end that we ran at the drags. Real tight fit with that motor. Real low dollar car back in the days.

Unless you need headers the EFI exhaust is a nice clean way to go that gets rid of the heat problems on the intake manifold and makes the it so you can run a stock starter that you can find any where in your travel, I will be changing out to EFI later this summer.

Don't know why any one would tie the progressive together to make direct all on linkage, not how it is to operate. Might as well run a 2100/2150 if that is what he wanted. 3.73 gears, C4 trans, Standard long bed !971 F250, Run around empty 98% of the time. Truck runs great, 19" vacuum, Base timing at 17* btdc, Full on mechanical advance 34* btdc. I will be getting a new wideband AF unit next week to see where the carb/motor are right know.

Now that I know how to mount it I need to ask another question, are the pri & sec runners the same size inside the manifold? No problem with this setup? Is a C or Clifford another $250 better? I know it would flow better but at $350 bit out of my range at this time.
