Hooker 6602

Found a hooker header that I was told was a 6601. Bought it and to my surprise they are the 6602 which I need for my 250 block and Aussie head . My question is I have never seen a Mexico stamp on them. Anyone shed any light? Even sent hooker’s fb page photos and haven’t heard back.

Re: Turbo Header Options

I have to keep the turbo as close to where my battery use to be. So custom is really my only option, running the aussie 2v head on my 69 250 block.

Turbo Header Options

So i know there are quite a few threads on going turbo here. What have you all done for a exhaust header? I know you can use the stock and do a J pipe. But thats not acceptable for me. Iv seen a few options but looking for more or even someone selling parts!!!!

I also have the Oz 250 2v head. I used the normal length studs. The nuts fit about flush with the studs. All seems fine to me.

Re: Linkage options for 2V conversion with Autolite 2100

Buy a 69/70 pedal $40.
Drill hole in firewall where the rod ends up and new holes to mount pedal FREE
Go to your local parts store and buy a 3ft throttle cable $20

Be done with it for less than 1/2 the cost of the lokar pedal.

That sucks. Sorry to hear. I bought the top end of a 250 on here a few months back. Well an aussie head from a 250 block. Last i knew he was still trying to sell the rest off the motor off or part it. Check the for sale section that i posted in. Good luck!!

69 Mustang project

I guess its a good time as any to finally post about my mustang. It’s always a guessing game when cracking open a 47 year old motor. Sometimes you just get lucky! Picked up my 69 3 years ago, and recently came into a deal on a Aussie head for the I6. Started the disassembly and to my surprise the bl...

Nice. Are you running a 200 or 170 or 250? And in a falcon? It's a 69 mustang 250. And I'm in the states. Took me Forever to find an Aussie head. Did you get the head shipped from Australia or did you luckily find someone willing to ditch one? Actually found it on here. Was in a 250 on a ford bronc...

Nice, the crossflow is gonna help it out plus the headers. It's totally worth it man. I suggest cable linkage, I've been having a few issues with the mechanical linkage. Like it won't go FOT so I'm gonna go the auto wreckers tomorrow and get the linkage out of this maverick Lucky for me its on my 6...

Your problem is the pulley size. The bigger it gets the less it spins. Get one smaller than the original.
