I'm not certain what valve springs to get for my boosted 300 build. I'm running 20 psi Cam card says intake lift is .448 with 1.6 rocker ratio and .442 on the exhaust I'm using 1.73 rockers so I calculated .484 on the intake and .478 on the exhaust. I noticed there are two different size head studs ARP makes for the 300, are they just a preference thing or is the 3/8 specific to one of the year categories and 7/16 specific to another?

I prefer the 11/32" x .530 Viton metal body seal. Positive stop. The valve guides will have to be machined to fit the seals. Most machine shops have the tool to cut the top of the guides. Fel pro sells a gasket kit with everything on summit for like 50$. Buy a fel pro 1024 head gasket on top. ...

The Holley efi will work for your boost levels, but I'm pretty sure they are only rated to like 13 psi. So that doesn't leave alot of room if you decide to push it further. The height of the roller rockers must be set so the roller tip rides equally accross the center of the tip of the valve stem as the valves open and close. After the rockers are at the correct height then the adjustable pushrods are reset for the correct lifter preload giving you the correct pushrod...

If you can stick with the si valves your probably better off. The longer Chevy valves will require some careful valvetrain measurements, shimmed or adjustable rockers pending on the head. As well custom length rods to keep geometry happy, and obviously longer springs with hardware. If your looking ...

The HX is a little small for a higher RPM or HP build, but it should give very nice midrange power and make a very fun driver. I have thought about that, If i ever decide to go further i might upgrade turbos and camshaft. From what i read, the smaller the turbo to less aggressive cam you should get...

Summit racing has them. i found the king rod bearings, but i cant find mains made by them, if they even make them They have king main bearing MB7750S1050 that fits 66-93 300 that ships from factory oct 15...Not sure if it would fit your crank or not.
