Re: 250 Build in 67 Mustang

I would go with zero deck and .044 Victor gasket and if you have to mill your head later use the FelPro .050 gasket. Or at least that's my plan with 200.

I think you should not change firing order in inline six. It’s already in good balance, compared to 4 or 8 cyl engines. Those 180 deg V8 engines are like two inline 4 engines, and yes they scream nicely but so does inline 6.

Yes it looks correct, I'd only use that .050 as -.050 because the head is milled, so you can't get it wrong with some longer calculations. Or at least I calculated like this: There is the block. If using old Ford gasket the height is 0. If you want to get it back there with .019 in thicker gasket yo...

You might look at the 1987 to 1997 4.9 300 big six these had serpentine drive and are zero balance, might be able to be adapted to the 250. Good luck   Those are a bit bigger diameter for seal and axle, but that's not the problem. How much they are meant to rev, my cam works up to 600...

I have seen video of someone only drilling new holes to make it 5 lug/change of pattern. So you wouldn't even need to change oil if you don't want to. Just need some "drill jig" that can be bolted to hub. Isn't the diameter of bolt patterns the same 4.5"?
