Hyper was standard equipment in super coupes. Also all the new coyote mustangs are hyper with exception og boss 302 and have no issues with boost. Detonation kills all. If it dont detonate hyper will hold up as well as forged.

Yes the wheel hop is very noticeable. If the tires spin just from throttle all is fine but any clutch action and it starts carrying on in the back. You would need to move the torque curve up in the rpm range quite a bit. Lots of cam lift in duration and the best flowing head you can find. You may find it difficult to drive on the street. I think a turbo that had a vband turbine inlet would work great. Then just mill down that heavy flange to accept the mating vband flange and theres enough material there to even change the angle as needed.

1996 300 motors come with hyper pistons that dont seem to break the skirts. Junk yards will often charge the same for all 300s and could save you from tearing into the shortblock. Look for the mass air and and obd2 plug on these trucks.

Resurfacing the block and head would be pretty high priority id say. Would help keep the headgasket on and the fel pro 1024 gasket. I also use a temp switch from standard ts158t. I believe its from a turbo coupe.. but it closes at 205 and opens around 195. There around 14 dollars from rock auto. The plug on the top is an injector plug i believe. Could double check on that if you wanted to go that route
