for what it's worth i'm running a c series with a 4 barrel and the torque is still very much like that of a tractor. it's basically impossible to give a 300 too much air.

with a completely dry fuel system, 5 gallons isn't much fuel. try filling the tank. mechanical pumps work by creating a siphon from the tank. the fuel pump has to pull the fuel up the sending unit and through 10 to 20 feet of line before it gets to the pump. the higher the fuel level the easier to c...
