Make sure to check that the harness adapter to the dizzy has the correct polarity. Mine had the wires crossed and I suffered unnecessarily for days trying to figure it out.

I have the PCV properly hooked up, to manifold and in working order. The only thing i have wrong is that with the carb spacer delete I have it sharing a nipple with the tranny vac. So as an update the damn filter was over tightened (last time was my first change, my fault) and after some persuasion with a screwdriver driven through it I got it off. I also had the experience of maintaining a fleet of Taxi Cab's back in the mid 1960's where we didn't change the oil, this was long before synthetic's came along. We just changed the oil filters (Frantz) and then added 1 new quart of oil it worked great cleaning the oil, the filtering media is fine...

Thanks chad :D I found that the KN HP-3001 is an equivalent and that is a easy off the shelf item here. Cost me 7 bucks I believe (was 40 for the WIX). As for the synthetic... I'm still on the fence. Thanks Bill for the pic. I guess the terrible feedback I've read about X pipes here tends to be on the 300s. Not the 200s.
Did you notice any screech/buzz/god aweful noise at highway speeds under load? that was the complaint I remember hearing.

So I've installed the linkage kit for the Jeep and WOW I love it. I get a nice smooth movement and (finally!!) full throttle!! *happy dance*
