Due to the interest shown on my posts of my custom door panels for my '62 wagon I thought I would post steps on how to help you make your own custom door panels, kick panels, etc. The material I used is automotive tweed and vinyl (Alante~) 1/4" landau foam and ABS plastic. ABS plastic can be bo...

Re: '68 Falcon Rear Bumper--Supplier Needed

68Falconohio, Try Tri-City Plating in Elizabethton Tenn. Ph# 1-800-251-7536 or 1-423-542-6532. This is who we ,in my area send ower bumpers to for re-plating. When they come to Charlotte Auto Fair they always have extra bumpers for sale. They do a great job and gaurantee then for life. Butch Evans(F...

Re: chrome plated grill on a 61

Domer, I've seen several 60-65 falcons with chrome plated grills and yes it does improve the looks. The two best in my opinion was a 61 and a 62. The 63 would be next. Well come to think of it they all look good. Butch Evans(Falconeer) Thomasville(chair city) NC

Re: Rear End Upgrades

jtan, Your stock rear end should measure 57 1/2" out side of drum to drum. Use a 70-71 Conet- Maverick 8" rear .The early 70-71 8" rears were 4 bolt and measures 56 1/2" out side of drum to drum. This will give you a much stronger rear end and more room for a larger tire.(dependi...

Re: Completed costom inter. of 63 pocket rocket

SteveS, Yes the two interiors are quite similar. I had done the 62 wagon before getting the 63 and being that the 63 had a t5 5 speed felt like the buckets would work better in it . I had quiet a bit of material left over after doing the 62 and rather than going to the expense of different material,...
