Spark Plugs

Spark plug question. My 200 engine has worn valve guides and my plugs get fouled often. I'm running a pertronix ignition and coil. I want to run a hotter plug. After reading old posts I cannot determine which is the hotter plug the AP45 or AP46? What would be some other plug options?

Thanks,

Lowell

Re: 1 barrel air cleaner

I also cut up the base of a original Ford air cleaner. A chrome air cleaned is made by Scott Drake the part number is C4DZ9600 and C4DZ9600-W They are expensive.
Thanks,

Hey flatford6,

Maybe the next time you do this modification, take some photos and post them. This maybe could be made into a Sticky.

Thanks,

Re: High Altitude Tuning

Hey jsevern, I'm in Longmont Colorado. Maybe ten years back now I purchased a 66 mustang from the original owner. This was a low miles unmolested original car. It had been relocated to Boulder from Lexington KY in the 70's. The car always ran rich so I tracked down a jet for the 1100 carb that was f...

Justin,
If you still don't have a answer, I would post your question on the fordmuscle forum. They have a C4 section/forum. There are several people that answers posts that are very sharp.

Re: first time ever transmission

Rickwrench mentioned to cut the heads off a couple of six inch bolts and thread into the block and use for alignment studs. On my 66 mustang this got me in trouble because the tranny bellhousing hit the bottom of the firewall as I slid the tranny back.First of all I started out with about a four inc...
