use hyperutetik (spelling) pistons cast stockers tend to crack when take apart your motor you likely find a cracked piston

looks nice when I set up mine I used 3/8 aluminum hex with 1/4 inch heims left hand tap was hrad to no one in town had one , had to goto a online source

my set has about 18 inches of 2.5 inch pipe off the headers and exit though the bottom 1/3 of the right door it is very load and shakes the ground

That's an ultra rare ford crossflow only a few ever made if I remember rite less than 100. Good luck finding one the last one I saw was on eBay and a reserve not at $1500

there was a gent awhile back that ran a high flow oil pump and it flooded the valve cover, so it might be a goppod plan to smooth out and/or slightly enlarge the oil gallery returns to help with that. ll I had to put drains on my valve cover to return oil to the pan I 1/4 pipe thread hole in the to...

FTF it time for some 15 inch dirt tires on the back and 10 inch on the front and a fairly stock motor because with all the torque a 300 makes it will still spin the tires off the corner

I run 38/38 webbers on the race motor and have had no problems these are not progresive i twist the crap out of mine never have fuel problems . idel well no stumbel I realy like them

I have lowish oil persure and have changed every thing I can think of then some else built wwth a clifiord cam also and he has low oil presure could this caused by under sized cam bearing jurnal(sp) it bugs the heck out of me tons of oil to the topend this a newish build bottom end bearing are in go...

Here is a thought Find a fitting that fit he drain plug threads (1/2-20 NF) and plumb it into the drain plug hole.

I know that the retune to the pan will need to be higher than the normal oil level so I don't have a hose full of oil

I do have a high volume pump . The chip in the msd is 6000 and have never hit it on the track. so I guess I'll pull vavle cover and weld in a peice of 1/2 i.d. thin wall tube and run a return line may two now do I run it to the lifter cover (easy) or the oil pan (not so easy). The issue I am having is that my motor is holding a large amout of oil in the valve cover. It so bad that after only a few laps maybe five I will have oil dripping out of the breathers. The 91 300 i have had broken piston in the #5 hole. also punched a hole in the cylinder wall. But a sleeve and a .050 bore fixed it it has hyper 390 slugs. runs great pulls hard

The piston rod combo I am looking at sits slighly lower than stock. I haven't ran the calcs yet, but I think the smaller chamber with that combo should keep it right around 8.5 to 1. Also my cam is .488/.485 on 114 lobe seperation. Are 3/8" pushrods even needed? I would think 5/16" chromo...

With a TFI ignition you have no advance other than what is controlled by the processor. Since you've ripped out the EFI system, that means that you have only your initial advance, no vaccuum or centrifugal to increase it. I'm surprised it runs as well as it does I ran a tfi on two motors with crabs...

I had sleeeve installed to save a block. bored the block .050 and used std bore 390 pistons flat tops yelds 307 cid required.020 milling the deck to zero deck with a 240 head milled .040 yelded 12.25 to 1 compertion
