"... some guides; 1st count the number of bolts holding the water pump on- 3 = 200, 4 = 250, the 250 block is taller by just over 10". So measure the height of the block, 8 1/16" = 200, over 10" = 250. Also FYI, the late 200s could have either a high or low mount starter location...

I visit here for my motor, nother for 4WD suspension, a 3rd for paint, etc.

I can just make yours out. Looks closer to the head & a lill more squared off frm that angle. My understanding wuz the PVC phased in around '61 and by law nationally in '67... I see the RDT thru out those yrs. Can't recall them in mid'n late 60s myself... Early PCVs I do recall very well... Joe ...
