I like that we R getting threads for specific carbs. WIsh there were ways to sticky them. But... I feel the same abt "specific heads" ('early', 'hex', 170, 200, late, etc). Rear ends ina 60s, 70s ford'n more, Seems like it would B a bear to slice'n dice into 'a table of contents' type list...

my YF ran very well offa the stator lug (a '68 model) for 30 + yrs. I put in an inline fuse but don't think it wuz needed.

geta cheep venier caliper style, save the bx it came in, throw them in ur tool bx @ home. Use one myself several timesa wk. Lost my micromiter I use it so lill. VC can measure inside, out side, and depth. Now have'em w/a 100th (or is it 1000?) ona lill dial (not mine), or 1 that is i.finger-operated...

...if I stick with the FelPro head gasket (which is available in my area, not sure about the Victor) I think I could safely mill the head enough to raise the SCR by a full point. The 280/280 cam will offset the increase in DCR a bit, since it has longer duration than the 274/274 cam that I am using...

welcome 'over here'. C U 'over there" occasionally.

frost plugs: 200 has 5, '80/3 hi mount starter (grey paint?), but that's D0 block.
250: 3/4 inch wider pan, 2 inch higher deck, the 4 bolts U mentioned, SBF bell mount-up.
We'll take either one when U rip it out...

near infinite list of '60s/70s ford pulleys here, just ask (listed by yr/model).
I keep it for "proper ratio pulley in a front dress change" when seeking that or to go up or dwn an extra shive.
