Drain that oil and change filter again after a hundred miles or so to remove any residual soaked in gasoline and the internal sludge , varnish , etc. that most likely was loosened by the gasoline {excellent solvent you know} and contaminate the oil .

I've replaced many fuel pumps for myself and customers when a pro for exactly that reason - gas in the oil . I am pretty sure the 1100 for either manual or auto had only 1 accelerator pump . Some automatic version carbs had a diaphragm to slow the return to idle - perhaps that what you are thinking is an accelerator pump .

I'm one of those stuck with the 1/4" distributor choices . The information on that Blackbox unit indicated using a laptop computer [which I don't have] . Anyone know if it can be adjusted with a desktop ? I presume something would have to be removed and replaced to do that .

Looking through my 1960-62 + '63 Falcon manual , the maximum LOA advance [varied with which engine , year , etc.] above the static setting is 16 1/2* @ 2500 rpm tested on a distributor machine . So your 28* is about max for an LOA distributor .
