I was thinking if fellow forum members would like to share any magazine articles regarding the ford inline 6 engines that they have as a reference for other enthusiasts? I'll see what I can dig up as well. Unfortunately I do not have any articles from the 60's, 70's and 80's.

What is the maximum compression ratio you can get by skimming the cylinder on the 200 or 250cid motor? At what point will you need to modify the stock rods and pistons? Also will you need different lenghth pushrods?

I am waiting to hear back about the cam and if any mods were done to the cylinder head!! The price includes the header offenhauser tri-power setup + four speed transmission with Mr. Gasket Ratchet shifter.

At 1700lbs with a warmed up 200ci it'll be a good enough vehicle!!!!! I've had the v6 conversions buick 3.8L and ford cologne v6!! It would be a :shock: to see a nice fox bodied LX model with cobra 5 star mags updated brakes suspension and a modified FI 300ci 4.9L six in it or even a 300ci with 2 2bbl or even 2 4bbls!! At least it wouldnt be another 5.0L :D

I dont understand why that person did'nt have the blower going into a intercooler than into a pressurized carb say a Holley 350cfm??? Any reasons why its done as a draw through???

head intake modifications

Is it possible to remove the log intake off of the head and weld on a larger dia. tubing or piping and mounting a 2bbl or 4bbl intake adapter to it?? This would allow you to port and polish the intake ports??
