I have a two 4 barrel manifold and two 390 Holleys, but it is going to be a long while before my engine will be ready enough to try them.

I have an article somewhere where Ak Miller welded 3 mounts for side drafts to the existing manifold, he figured as small as the engine was, 3 was enough.

From what I remember, motorcycle carbs can't handle too much psi. Be sure you use a regulator.

I've got a 5spd in my '77. Came out of a wrecked Mustang GT. I didn't do the install but understand it needed a small adapter plate, differently bent shifter. Other than that it was a direct bolt in. Same clutch, driveshaft, etc. Alex

My original tank rusted at the seams, would leak eveytime there was enough gas to go above the seams. Bought a new one from JC Whitney, sprayed it with galvanize in a can. Ought to be good for a few years anyway :lol:

My suggestion is the open spacer as opposed to the 4 hole. I've used both and preferred the open. Your mileage may vary :)

Yes - it took some extra "doing" to end up with BBC rollers. The (non-roller) sbc rockers were a quick, cheap & easy swap - "best bang for the buck" EVER !. I may have already installed screw in sbc studs ( which also work great)...???, or did the screw in's come when the higher ratio sbc's cau...

I believe Car Craft ran a test on rear ends as to how much power difference between them was lost. If I remember correctly, they were all fairly close.

Ouch :cry: Probably not relevant, but does look like a hydraulic lock, was wondering if you had an injector failure and it shot straight gas and filled up the cylinder... just a wild guess :shock:

Don't forget mc carbs can't handle the fuel pressure from the stock fuel pump, will need a regulator.
