I have not experience with that divider. If I recall, some members on this forum have put a plate on the trunk floor to prevent the the fuel from entering the trunk. For the floor divider it to work, you would also have to have some sort of barrier around the fuel filler tube as it would be exposed...

The cupcake horn button out of a '67 would help some. There used to be a metal plate that was placed behind the back seat, so any heavy items flying out of the trunk would not decapitate an occupant.
