In the many conversations on ignition here, why is the EDIS 6 not a fundamental part of these discussions?

A smart system with tons of really bright people developing it is an option for us that is not as frequently included in ignition conversations as seems worthy.

During piston travel, are there any forces exerted that would make a piston want to rotate in the bore?
Torsional forces maybe is the term.
If so, would there be any magnification of this pressure with the narrower rod?
Personally I can't see a drawback in a truck engine to narrow rods

The very best adjustment you can do is an accurate autometer gauge.
Ford instrument panels,are at best a guess- timate.
Seldom accurate right on save for the speedo. Especially truein old Ford's that are by now world weary .

If I understand your question properly the best answer is yes, but. The auto trans will spike in pressure just out of it's case it will spike maybe to 120psi. Depending.
