Re: free 300 what to do?

This busted-up 89 F150, with a 300 six i have. Has the blower to the Fuel rail. I assumed it was cause all the heat on that side of Engine, would boil the fuel in the lines. The squirrel cage blower manifold was used to cool the injectors themselves after shutdown. The residual heat was gumming up ...

Re: 3 VW Carbs on a modified stock intake

If you thought two of the same carburetors might suffice, you would be able to get ready made linkage from a VW or Porsche set-up. Both would open simultaneously. Equip with original VW oil bath air cleaners and it would look old-school, plus you could use the warm air hoses to aid cold starts.

Re: Will I be able to open up the gap on my plugs any?

There are several reasons you might want to upgrade ignition systems: increased compression requires more voltage to fire the plugs lean or stratified mixtures require more voltage to ignite the charge the presence of excessive EGR requires a larger gap /more voltage to fire to ignite the charge By...

The biggest item needed is a good exhaust manifold capable of withstanding the heat. I sure wish somebody made one from a high quality alloy. On a barely related note I recently replaced one exhaust manifold of my motorhome. These babys are made to take the extreme heat produced under the operating...
