for a US 250. am looking into boreing the hole in the block and putting a bearing in so I can run a eec4 setup. so a cap clearance issue is not important.

get a good selection of burrs and a porting kit (cheap source for alot of sanding rolls) remember to go slow as high speed will just bounce around and dull the burrs. I rebuilt the head last year do to sticking valves. with the nead milled it runs fine but runs out of steam at 75mph. but I have 3.50 rear gears so it is spinning pretty fast for the holley 1908 carb and tiny log head.the blow by isn't too bad but the road draft tube ma...

for only a .050" difference could you not have the block milled and aligned honed? either way you will prob be talking a custom rod/piston combo anyway. before someone mentions the cost of it just remember it isn't how fast do you wanna go it is how fast do you wanna spend.

well 2.0/2.3 c4 trannys are impossible to find the bells go for around $100 alone. I got a t5 to swap in but need to get my pedal set first (in the mail) and have a new propshaft made and get a clutch. I think I will learn to live with it for a couple months until the lane comes back out.

kinda OT 2.3L c3 tranny problems...

this is kinda off topic but does apply to c4 trannies too. my c3 isn't upshifting right. it will hold in gear until 4000 rpm then shift. it doesn't slip and goes though all the gears fine. It just started doing this last week. is this a vac problem or the kickdown cable? I know it started after I pu...

a 87-88 Thunderbird tranny should work fine unless you HAVE to have a WC. they have held up to 12 sec cars putting out over 300 ft lbs and 300hp. the key thing it to not abuse it. my 84 tranny held up fine to 18psi and 6k clutch dumps on comp ta zr1's
