you can take a couple of inches of the smaller hose and stick it it the larger hose as a spacer.

if you want good power but a stock look swap in a 250.looks the same but a couple of inches taller.you should read the falcon handbook.lots of info on ford small sixes.

2. Exhaust pipe, at least a foot from the manifold to protect it from heat.

i mounted mine in the center of the exhaust manifold in one of the emission holes.i know gm mounts them in the exhaust manifold on thier v8s.do i need to move mine into the pipe?

if you use the same year v8 bellhousing.the small six torque converter won't work.its much smaller.the 200 c4 can be built for more power but why not just get a 302/351 c4?

you need a 170 crossmember.a 200 will not bolt to a 240 crossmember.

another problem may be that that year is bad for the front cab mounts rusting out and colapsing.i had an automatic 1970 truck that the shifter was in a bind because the cab had sagged.

modern driveline makes an adapter to hook a t5 to a 2.77 bellhousing.i think thats what you need but im sure that someone that knows more will reply.did you read the 'stickys' at the top?

i don't believe you can hurt a good condition v8 aod with a six cylinder.the best aods are 96 and later but they require a 500 dollar computer to operate.the plus is that they are the wide ratio version and with the aftermarket computer you can control shift rpm and harshness.i think that wikapedia ...

i bought a od toploader with the side shifter yesterday.i used search and i understand that i can use a 67-74 bellhousing to hook this to my 1966 duel pattern 170 engine.am i right?thanks.

im running one on my 170.its running rich but noone seems to know how to adjust the mixture on the yfs.it has a metering rod for the mixture. The bolt holes for the 200 inline six are close to bottoming out on a stock motor. A common problem found is that if the head has been surfaced then the heads bottom out in the holes and give a false torque reading. When I measured mine I found this to be not true. I had mine milled .050 and there ...

everything ive read about the 300 says its gas mileage sucks.you may want to concider a 250 instead.btw i see 300s on craigslist weekly.you might look there.
