Not to hijack, but I have a similar issue. Bore measures 3.98 in all holes, with crosshatch visible but worn on thrust side. Dingle hone and new rings?

Operating range is exactly as the cam’s Specs indicate:
2500-6500rpm

I am building two headers:
- 1 1/2”
- 1 5/8” (for the SR head)

Anyone else consider a street demon 1901 with composite bowl? It’s basically an updated thermoquad. 625 CFM, small 1 3/8” primaries with larger vacuum secondaries.
