Re: Running Rough

On the bogger I totally eliminated high rpm blowby by getting a breather with a 5/8 nipple, on the cheap ones you will need to silicone the bottom crimp, then get some soft 1/2 inch copper and route it to the headers with a smog pump check valve in the system.

It will take an 8.75 adapter to the crank pulley and a 3.8 blower pulley for 6 psi and 3.4 for 10 psi and while your are at it, use an 8 rib to make sure you have no slipage, these #''s are good because I have done it with an m90. and mpfi, most talk about it becasue it takes alot of engineering and...

My pistons where custom 1.190 with still needing to deck .017 if I remeber correctly to 0 deck, with the 240 head this creates a 13.1 c/r with the head milled .050 to 62 cc. with the .039 head gasket and about 12.4-1 with the about .050 gasket.

The NP435 is tops for four wheeling, you now have a 75.1 crawl ratio, you are spinning 3100rpm at 65 mph with 32 inch tires, the zf is a fine tranny, but very expensive to convert to, if you are failing now in 4th gear, there will be no gain with the zf other than much easier shifting and a loss in ...

There's no timing chain to break on a 240, I've seen the fiber ones were off the teeth and the steel ones get loud, I doubt it came apart, depending on what he was basing a timing chain on, it may just be a distributor gear dowl or an ate up gear and cam gear if it was not bronze.
