1966 mustang

I currently have a 1966 mustang with a stock 1966 200 engine and c4 transmission. The engine needs a rebuild and I don’t know if the transmission works or not. A guy in my area is giving away a 1981 200 out of a fox body with the matching 4 speed SROD, and I am trying to figure out if the 1981...
