200 six block needed

Hello all,

I am in need of a 200 six (seven Main) block for rebuilding. I have a 64 falcon I am building for my son and it has a 170 in it now. I don't believe it to be a 7 main engine. Did ford make the 170 with 7 mains? any way if someone has a line on a block in Northern Ca. I would like to talk. I am going to us the rebuild kit from this webb sight and want to get started soon.

any one know how much HP from the 1.6 rocker with there 264 cam? I have a machine shop in town who has a great reputation to put it together.
I would love to us an aluminum head but I don't have the time for it's completion

I don't know a bout one in CA, but I have one in Augusta, KS. It has 21,000 on it everything is standard and a simple re-ring and bearing will put it back on the rode. someone used pennzoil in it so it needs cleaned up bad. if anyone needs it let me know. Its out of a 67 mustang so its the old block. It is just a short block (no head or cam).

Shouldn't be too hard to find a 200 laying around in california, the most mustangs were sold in that state than any other. Have you tried calling up a few junkyards? I'd keep an eye on ebay too, guys are always pulling 200s in california so they can do a V8 swap.

I have a 200 with 7 mains from a 65 Ranchero that you can have if you are up north this far on I-5 (Washington). Block has never been bored so it is a good candidate for a rebuild.

I also have a spare 200ci block in my garage. I took it out of my 67 mustang last year. It has been rebuilt only once, I believe .030 over. The block is in good shape, but should be freshend up. (bearings and rings) I also have a 66 200 head that's in good shape and has an excelent casting, its been rebuilt recently but does not have any valves. Mike at FSPP can hook you up with all the necessary parts at a reasonable price. I am located in Selah, WA if you are interested.
