Well we were putting the car back together and installing the adjusta jet in the Holley 2300 when Frances kicked up. There's a small piece of foam that's supposed to fit between the adjustajet and the body of the carb. Had just layed it in place when the phone rang, the lights went out, and the wind blew it away! I have looked on and off all week for that little piece of foam. I don't know what purpose it would serve except to keept fuel from sloshing around. Any ideas as to what I should do? Would that be a special foam? It's about an inch wide and four long, wedge shaped.

Thanks,
Don

That piece landed in my backyard yesterday. 8)

Glad you are okay.

That will be a packaging piece unless Holley are making foam out of a non petrochemical source. Foam gets eaten by the aromatics in a short time. Check with the supplier.

Thats what I figured, I'll keep looking, the instructions say to put it in there. I did check the Holley site, I'll email them. Think I'll put it together without it for now and see what happens  No telling with my luck, I knew better, just never learn.

Thanks,
Don
