250 Headers

Are Headers available for US 250?, I am building up a 'donated" 250 block and just realized the Hookers on the 170 likely won't fit with the taller block height.

(Probably been covered recently but couldn't find in search.)

I have the worked 250 head currently on the 170. (milled .080, 48cc chambers, matched 302 springs, shouldered spring seats, Pioneer valve seals, milled xhaust flange, 3 angle valve cut, port divider, steel shim gasket running @ 9.3:1)

I got the Clifford dual headers for my 250 before I found this site. I think Mike at FSPP has headers for the 250 also.

I put the small six Pacemakers on a roundbody powered with a 250-2V in one of their (several) lives. They rattled against the trans crossmember. Note this crossmember was not stock, but a '66-up style piece bolted onto welded brackets inside the rails. Maybe it sat lower.

With no steering box in the way, you could possibly tweak the tubes forward to make it happen.
