250 in fox body?

Has anyone successfully stuffed a 250 in a fox body without having to weld up a new pan and pickup?
Perhaps by "massaging the oil pan?
Dropping the rack and pinion down?
Both?
Don't have access to a torch or welder, but have cutting tools and air compressor.
Money is definitely an issue.
Really want to use this motor/trans in my 82 Mont for the winter while I save up and rebuild the 200.

8) to my knowledge all 250s had front sump oil pans, and there is no way to massage the pan to make it a rear sump pan without cutting and welding. sorry.
