250 vs 200 cylinder head differences

Hi All,

I am looking to get a 250 head but first I would like to know the differences besides port sizes for instance rocker arm configuration etc? If anyone can shed some light on this for me it would be greatly appreciated.

There is no differences between the 250 and 200 cylinder head in a given year.
They have the same port sizes, intake volumes, valve sizes, rocker arm configurations, and chamber volumes.

You can place a 250 head and 200 head from the same year side by side and have a hard time distinguishing one from the other.

Remember that the 250 wasn't produced until 1969.

The year of manufacture makes more of a differnece than whether it is a 250 head or 200 head.
