I did a search and read what ford6man27 did, that is a great idea but by the time i buy two fuel pumps to make one i think it is going to be more money than i want to spend .

I also read that a big block chevy fuel pump will work ,does any one know the details about this,i am thinking about getting one to see how it fits-thanks

The fuel pump that I am running on my 300 like I said in my earlier post is the top of a 300 truck pump [part # in other post] i got at O'Reily auto parts for $35.00 . If you look on E-bay now there are Carter high volume pump bases for the buy it now price of $49.95 with $10.00 shipping. Look up Carter Racing Fuel Pumps, scroll down and you will find them. $35.00 for fuel pump,$60.00 total for pump base = $95.00 The cost of a Carter Racing pump for a small block chevy or ford is about $135.00 new. Works great and to me one heck of a bargain.

Will this work on a 170? i'm not sure if the 300 and the 170 have the same pump. If not, is there a high volume pump?
