Anybody in Melbourne or Keysborough VC?

I know this is a long shot, but ...

I did some power steering rebuilding for a guy in Keysborough that hasn't paid me and won't return emails or snail mail. He has a 1965/1966 Mustang, so there can't be too many of those around.

He was refered to me by another guy in South Melbourne, who did pay for all the work I did for him. I sent him copies of the letter I sent the non-payer, and he did email me that he would forward the letter to him. Since then I have been unable to get an answer from either of them.

I realize I am probably SOL, but I figure if someone on this board lived in this area, they may know someone who has 1965/1966 Mustangs, and could possibly help me out.

Anybody?

Randy,
I can't help you with running down the guy that stiffed you, but I can put some money in your pocket.
This is David in Dayton, TX. I would like to buy the C4 bellhousing that fits the Aussie 250 crossflow block. email me at xflowecono @yahoo .com or call me at 936-258-7577.

David, I left a PM in your inbox for weeks early this year... Could've shipped a bell for you in a crate of other stuff. You need to check the forums more often.

S53, as you've got a paper trail you can probably file a civil claim in Victoria. The court will take a dim view of non-payment, no matter where you are. A claim would normally take in debt, plus interest, plus "reasonable" legal costs. Let me know if you need more pointers. I'm not there, but am reasonably familiar with the way it runs. You'd basically have to write some letters and that would be it.

Other option may be to initiate action in Texas, meaning that when judgement went against the defendant, it could be harder for him to enter the US?
