I've been looking at the new generation of alternators--high amperage, internally-regulated, internal cooling fan (I guess). Not the sexiest subject, but they are lightweight and compact, which pretty much describes our rides...
How are these alts holding up? What are the drive pulley interchange possibilities given that newer cars are serpentine?
