I have a good new, CWC brand, unground flat tappet cam core.
The cam core was brought to the Metrology Lab that I work with and the Rockwell Hardness is GOOD!!!
I wanted to make sure that the cam core was not a dud before selling it. I would be loosing sleep selling it un-tested.
It turns out that my next engine build cost will be going up considerably when switching to roller.
The bottom line is, I can’t think of any unground cam cores sold to other hobbyists. I requested one because a core was available at the time but, I was not sure of profile it will be ground to. The core can be ground to pretty much any profile at any good cam grinder.
Price is $400.00. Shipping is not included.
