I was reading the web page for Firebird and this is posted:

As of February 1st all vehicles with an aftermarket power adder, (nitrous, turbocharger, or supercharger) will be required to wear an SFI approved fire jacket

I have NO idea where I will find a SFI jacket that will fit my 62 Falcon or any jacket that large to fit my car.

I hate Firebird; they are to strickt. Speedworld is the way to go.

It's not just Firebird.....it's a new rule for ALL NHRA tracks.

We had to get one for Kelly!

Hey Dooie,I like your choice of tracks :D I work at Speedworld most of the time I'm in tech.Make sure to make it out the weekend of March 24-26 for the PSCA race and hang out with us (Myself,Does10's and AZCoupe)I think Will will have Kellys car running by then  .

OH Yeah BTW, Crosley It's a new rule this year..Anyone running an aftermarket blower, turbo or running nitrous has to wear a 3.2a1 jacket.Doesn't matter how slow you run.Crosley you bout' ready to make some passes? If so how can persuade ya to come over to our side of town?Firechicken caters more to the ricers and you'll make more passes at Speedworld than there.

Oh , I get it, the jacket is for the driver , not the car.

More stuff I need to buy

82F100...... I'm several months from having the Falcon ready to run down the strip.

I raced at the Speedworld track when it was called Mel Larson's

82f100- I saw the post you did in the events section and i wrote it down on my calender. so as long as somthing does not come up i will be there. And i might have my poopstang runnin so that would be cool. And ya i like Speed world SO much better than Fire chicken; one time i raced at Firebird, on there streat car night, and i was there 4 hours and only ran twice. So then i went to Speed world and was there like 3 hours and ran like six times.
