Not recently. We are in full kids sports mode here at our house.
What I think is that my fitment issue is now a function of the available height between the top of the lifter bore and the underside of the block deck. It appears that there is more room in the 250 than there is in the 200. I will take some measurements this week and confirm. What I think we will run across, is that if we can reduce the overall length of the lifters by some amount, let's make up a number and call it 0.25", then they would fit. Can we get there with a hydraulic lifter? I dunno.
What I'll do is measure from top of the deck to the floor of the lifter galley at the lifter bore. I'll then take some measurements of the deck thickness in a few spots. That will give us an idea of how much room we will need to stand the lifter up. Why? Well, I really don't think selling these sets will happen if every lifter bore needs a block modification to fit. The mods to the block at the ends is one thing, because there's meat there to do this, but we will run into problems trying to make cutouts for every linked lifter. Folks won't want to pay for 2-3 hours of machine work to install them and run the potential for the block to be ruined in the process.
I'll try to get some pictures of what I'm seeing and report back.
