That's a good price for an uncommon item. But I'm a little confused. A 250 block is taller than a 200 block, so 250 push rods need to be longer than 200 pushrods no matter what head is on. Are you saying that these push rods are even longer than normal ones for a 250, to make up for the aluminum cylinder heads being taller than iron heads?

yes

Thanks. I guess it doesn't matter much because I probably won't be buying one. But I had thought the aluminum heads were made to be compatible with the standard parts like valve train components and exhaust manifolds/headers. After paying for that head, custom push rods probably don't seem so expensive...

The aluminum heads are made to be compatible with MOST standard parts...headers, valve covers and rocker assemblies all bolt right up. Pushrods however are a different story as I found out.
