Got the block back last Friday for mock up assy to determine final deck height.
If you look closely, you might be able to see the dreaded 3/32 wall liner, bored out .020 to 3.700.
Even after having the piston builder modify the pin hole .100 down,...the pistons were still .008 in the hole. It's no wonder you cant get them to fall out of a tree stock.
Beautiful. Even have my name laser etched on the bottom, in case I forget who I am.
What'ya gonna do? All I got to work with is a stock rod. Now bushed, polished, and arp bolted. ( My hands are filthy here. I'm actually putting stuff up at the end of the day,..I did all of this before that:
The fuel system is only mocked up for the sake of build support brackets. The lines will obviously have to stay. Now that they're bent, they aint coming out.
I also finished up my MSII ECU this morning.
All three kits built by me over the last few months,..finishing the main ECU today. Not that it took that long in total (only about 10 hours) I just worked on it an hour here and there as I went.
